  i was looking at a magazine while waiting for my son to come out from seeing his doctor a couple of weeks ago, and it had an article in it about dick cheney.

  (i think it was a magazine named architecture.

  ) it showed pictures of the home cheney is favored with living in during his tenure as vice president of the united states.

  We do not take our leaders seriously if they
  don't dress in suits and live in nice houses.
  Can you see the president living in a track home
  and dressing casual while doing his job?
  We expect our leaders to look and live their best.
  The witnesses are allways in awe at how polished
  Bethel is. Do polished floors do the work?

  I have great respect for Dr. Billy Graham.
  A freind of mine saw me tuning in to his recent
  crusade and remarked that I was listening to a man
  who is antisemetic. Is this true or a rumor?
  I have always enjoyed Dr. Graham even thought I don't
  follow his sermons.

  i was just reading through the codes for my city (irving, tx) and discovered something interesting: a person or organization must register with the city secretary's office before they can go house-to-house for religious reasons (aka, jehovah's witnesses going door-to-door).. .

  I have not really been paying much
  attention here at jwcom.
  I will take closer note of your comments
  in the future.

  When I did the door to door work, I always felt it
  was a waste of resource, time, and energy. I allways
  thought the Watchtower should employ some modern
  means to communicate. After all it was to his annointed that
  Jesus commanded they preach door to door. The other sheep
  were not being instructed by Jesus in those verses.

  Remember how the Worldwide Church of God did it?
  One tv show and a news stand with the PlainTruth at every
  corner in America. To bad that church fell apart, they did it
  so much better then the Watchtower. I bet you read the Plain Truth
  when it was in circulation.

  Would you let your kids bf/gf sleep-over?

  at what age would you be happy with your kid's boyfriend and girlfriend 'sleeping over'?.

  would the rules be different for boys vs. girls?.

  personally, i think given a choice between 'it' happening anyway god-knows-where and giving a suitably mature kid some privacy, i go for the privacy option.. what do you think?

  I agree, your house = your rules.

  When I lived in Idaho on a 40 ranch, my parents would
  never permit such activity in the house. Hey, no
  problem dad..

  Later of course, I got my ass in trouble for
  going out to the hay loft in the barn.

  I can still here myself telling dad, "the barn is not your house".

  I allways used to leave the barn with a hay rash on my ass.

  words if you plan to escape Jah's wrath.

  when i went to the meetings, i couldn't concentrate, so i would daydream all the time.

  i noticed that most of the time i would think about sex!

  i would look at some of the young ladies and imagine having sex with them.
